One of Whitstable's hidden gems, The Native Smokehouse is tucked away in an alleyway not far from bustling Harbour Street and just a stone's throw from Whitstable Harbour. The smokehouse shop is now open weekly Wednesday to Saturday, 9.30am to 4.00pm (with some exceptions for farmers markets). PLEASE NOTE: The Native is taking a bit of a break! The smokehouse shop is currently CLOSED and will not reopen until Wednesday 30th September. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience and I hope you will continue to support the business when it reopens at the end of the month.
The smokehouse shop can only accept payments by card (including smart phones), or online bank transfer. I am still able to accept a mixture of card and cash payments at farmers markets and other similar outside events.

Whole & Part Salmon Sides, Cured & Smoked on the Premises:
These are non-stock products specifically produced to order. My 'Order Only' products are 'fresh-cured' loose products, usually wrapped in greaseproof paper. These products have not been vacuum packed and, therefore, offer a subtly different eating experience. Salmon orders placed by 9pm on Tuesday will generally be available for collection from 11am the following Tuesday. To place an order, please use the Order Form at the bottom of this page.
